Sharing the Blessings vol. 10

Presenting week ten of Sharing the Blessings.  Join up below!
The last few days have been stunning in their mantle of glorious sunshine.
My sisters and I went on a journey to the top of our mountain,
To get as close as we could to that sparkling clear sky.

The view was awesome.
So was the feeling of life and energy and sheer joy at being alive on a day like this.
But best of all was being there with my beautiful, talented, precious sisters.
Today I want to thank God for my life, and the endless beauty He is constantly showering on me.
And for letting me call this place my home for a time.

---------------------------------------
"Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God."
Hebrews 12: 1-2

How it works:
Each Sunday, I will post the new linky for the week's posts.  Add your link, then browse through the link pool, visit with other bloggers, and share your blessings!

What you do:
Just make a post, as simple as a picture or as elaborate as an article, about the blessings in your life.  An inspiring story?  The temptation conquered - or the steaming mug of hot tea you enjoy each morning, glorying in the new day? A verse of scripture that has blessed you?   Everything in our lives is really a blessing - so share yours!

  1. As a non-blogger, here is my entry for week#2. First of all let me say that your photos of the beautiful Idaho landscape are breathtaking! The snowy path and the view are amazing together! Over the weekend, I attended two political fund raisers for upcoming elections in the city and county. What was so evident was that both people were such good, decent, honest and creative human beings who felt a calling to serve their community. Being a politician is often labeled with words as corrupt, bought by money etc. But these two candidates are way above that sort of fray. And being a public servant is difficult and requires long hours and lots of responsibilites. So, this week, I am grateful for those individuals in our community who want to serve, feel positive, and want to make our locale a better place to live for all citizens. My hat goes off to them and yes, I will take a yard sign to post!

  2. It's wonderful that you have two good politician candidates, Winnie. Definitely something to be thankful for. :)

Why has the Linky Tool expired? Can't link up anymore! Is it normal for all the linked up blogposts on the Sharing the Blessings posts to disappear too?

  3. Oh dear! I'm sorry the linky isn't showing up for you! It's there on my screen - perhaps a page refresh would fix it. The link entries should definitely be showing up! Let me know if it is still on the blank for you, and I'll try to figure this out.
    Thanks;)

I saw your comment about my picture, but then it disappeared....so yes, it was taken in ID, on top of Schweitzer mountain to be exact:) It was a gorgeous sunny day in September and we took a hike there.
