Strolling

Tasha came over yesterday and we went on a stroll down the driveway.  It was lovely - Algy came too, of course, and we grabbed some photographs that captured the mood so perfectly.  Autumn leaves, azure skies, our darlingly daft dogs and each other.
We walked home and lazed about in my tent, listening to Once on a Time and chuckling softly at every other word.  Not so softly at that.  Snorting and gasping for breath is more accurate...  But there - I've ruined my idyllic word picture.  Keepin' it real, folks.

In other news, have you heard about the upcoming Doctor Who blog party?  Hosted by Ashley from Bramblewood Fashion and Tasha over at Day by Day, it's one no Whovian should miss!

There's going to be Doctor Who inspired fashion posts and a fashion link-up, a blog party quiz link-up, a (really fantastic) giveaway (I just may be one of the sponsors!), and loads of other fun stuff!

Hurry on over to check it all out and grab yourself a button!

I'm currently trying to teach myself the DW theme song on the accordion.  In my spare time.  This is madness.
I don't know if I have it in me, but I thought I'd share as a sort of incentive to actually do it.  We'll see...

Ooo-eee-ooooo....

P.S. This is my 300th post here!  Confetti!

  1. Lovely, lovely Autumn aside, there is nothing more beautiful than two best friends smiling in a photo. What the photo cannot tell us about are the years of growing up together and the deep bonds of trust and friendship that abide beneath those smiles. And there is something metaphoric about the long driveway and two best friends walking together on that pathway as now grown young women. Trusting, Holding each other up, Reaching out to life . I am afraid the Whovian craze skippped my generation, BUT, I cannot wait for the fashion posting part!

  2. I enjoyed every minute of our afternoon together, especially the snorting and gasping for breath. *grin*

And I'm going to download Once on a Time now so I can finally finish it! It's too wonderful:)

    Love you!

  3. Lovely photos, Kellie! They are such wonderful glimpses of fall...on a day perfect for strolling under brightly painted trees.(:

If you do manage to master the theme song, you should post a video of it! It does sound very awesome.(:
