It's always a good time.

A peek at the rose and chevron numbers.

The Wall Tent Studio is back in business, slowly taking shape as I acquire a piece of furniture here, a new tool there.  Countless hours have been logged in the last week as my precious bolts of fabric materialize into these skirts - most of those hours huddled in front of the heat, as April showers and stormy skies have arrived.   The sun is here for a quick how-do today, so I grabbed some preview shots before the next curve ball hits.

These skirts are pretty special.  I only hope you all love them as much as I do!

What you don't see are the fiascoes piling one atop the next in the background in a colossal train wreck, threatening to send me to the insane asylum in a pleated chevron straight jacket of my own design.
More on all that later.

Suffice to say, everything will turn out.  Not just for good, but for the best.
With my life in His hands, living victoriously is the only option.
That's awesome.

  3. Special Indeed! What cute skirts these have turned out to be.
Added to the other two styles, these new skirts are going to be so perfect for the warm weather. So glad you got some sun amidst the April showers too. We hit 87 today! Yikes! I can't wait to see more!

Wow. There's so much behind those few words, I'm sure. All I can say is, 'IKES!

So true! I admire your attitude, Kellie...and envy your ability to think that way. I don't know what's going on, but I'm sure if I was in your shoes, it'd be too hard even to write what you did. Don't ever change, girlie!
    You're in my prayers.

On a happier note, I love your Rose skirt! And I have visions of your Chevron number (a popular pattern of late, meseems) being snatched up like hotcackes. :-)

    God bless,
    ~"Tom"~

  5. It looks gorgeous, Kellie. I can't wait to see the new shop!

I have to ask, though... is the title an Owl City reference...?

I also wanted to let you know I nominated you for the Leibster award on my blog.

If you do not participate in awards that is fine, and I will completely understand! This was actually my first time doing it and I'm just giving it a whirl.

Keep up the beautiful work and have yourself an amazing day!

  8. Ooops. I hope you got out of the chevroned straightjacket. ;-)
These results looks lovely. And they look like Spring - the Spring that's finally, finally here! Even if there was hail during the lesson on Caribbean literature today. :D Sun's shining again, and your creations go perfectly with that mood.
