I had such a wonderful, wonderful fourth of July.  There was gospel/bluegrass jamming, contra dancing, quarterstaff juggling, and a hike up the mountain behind our house for the firework shows spread below in the valley.  Oh, and some incredible group singing.  It was awesome.

What did you do to celebrate?  Can't wait to hear!

  1. Congrats, April! :)

I went to a friend's house where there was gospel/bluegrass jamming, contra dancing, quarterstaff juggling, and a hike up the mountain behind my friend's house for the fireworks shows spread below in the valley. Oh, and some incredible group singing. It was awesome...and so much fun!! ;D

  4. This was the first year my family haven't gone to see the fireworks. But then, the ones in Grass Valley, California aren't nearly as impressive as the ones we can see from the R family's backyard (just down the street!), so it wasn't a big disappointment. :-P

Instead, we had the Grandparents and Uncle Dave over to the house we were staying at, made hot dogs for supper and played Apples to Apples in the evening. Great fun!

Hope to talk to you soon, lass!
    God bless,
    ~"Tom"~
