Of all the colors in the glorious spectrum of beautiful color on this earth, there's something about new, sun-dappled, sumer leaf green that washes my soul like no other.
I've been thinking about color lately. About what an amazing communication medium it is, especially when combined with another expressive communication medium like fashion. Fashion, communication, and color are all very near to my heart, and walking in a richly laden orchard on a summer afternoon is like a glimpse into the heart of all three.
Golden moments sparkle around a green that is new life and sheer joy. Shot through with the rich red that proclaims assurance, passion, radiance.
My best friend went and got herself engaged two weeks ago, and everything I ever imagined about that day as a little girl was far surpassed with the true joy and excitement and beauty that is always so much more brilliant in reality than we can ever imagine.
God is so good.

We all react to color in ways that are meaningful to us drumming up memories and a myriad of thoughts. Summer Cherry Red. It makes me remember Lilly's cherry pies by the lake!
