July passed in a blur of heat and flaming color.  Adventures logged, memories made.

And August just keeps on going.  Adventure is out there!  

I'm off to unplug my studio and watch the thunderstorm rolling in - thunderstorm watching from my piano bench with lashings of rain and lots of noise is my favorite.

This hike up to the top of the world the other day was absolutely incredible.  

It never grows old, the thrill of discovering how much breathtaking beauty there is just waiting at the end of the trail.
