Garden Dusk

Freshly harvested garlic, late blooming lupine, ocean spray behind the greenhouse.  Red clover, delicate yet grasping, climbs the garden gate post.
Egyptian walking onions at dusk form drama-laden silhouettes, juxtaposing dark and light.

A garden walk at dusk.  No matter what the rest of the mad world does or thinks, it's impossible to ignore the deep peace that surrounds you there, gentle yet insistent.
Memories of toil, sweat, labor mingle with the realization of peace, plenty, and provision found there.

Plus the sweet knowledge that though we may plant and water, it is God that gives the increase.  That work is His alone.
