The 2012 Autumn Collection | Preview

Announcing the Kellie Falconer Design Autumn 2012 Collection.

I've been working night and day on this project, and as it nears it's completion, I'm just so excited to be able to prepare this to share with all of you!

There have been quite a few bumps along the trail, especially as half of my family is in CA to prepare the vineyard for harvest, and my youngest sisters, my wonderful and protecting bro, and I are the only hands on deck.  And as wonderful as Aubrey is, he doesn't cook very often:)  Mega-cooking is the name of the game, and I've been alternating cooking and heating up meals with the Autumn Collection for the last two weeks, rolling this out as quickly as possible for the release.

Everything completed so far (that includes sewing, scheming, pricing, supplying, styling, photographing, videography, modeling, coordinating, and running the farm!) has been done by my 10 year old sister and I - I want to thank her right now for the amazing work she's done on the photography.  With a little coaching from Algy, she's become a photographer overnight, taking all of the photos I am in.  She's done a marvelous, marvelous job!

In addition to beautiful new Fall fashions and accessories in the shop, I have a new video series on hairstyling, as well as my music (I'm a little terrified to share those!), and lashings of Fall fashion inspiration to apply to your own wardrobe in the works.
So stay tuned!

  1. Hi Kellie,
    A lovely post as always.
    Your sister's photo's are wonderful.
I love the red apron! I have collected aprons for quite some time and had to stop, because I just don't have anywhere to put them in my tiny little room.
    I can't wait to see your video's.

  4. This sneak preview is very exciting! The new colors and styles are going to be perfect for fall wardrobes coast to coast! Mildred is doing a great job of being the photograper in residence too.! I cannot wait to see more of those adorable skirts. And the aprons on skirts create another layer of color and intrigue to the outfit. Aprons are not just for cooking anymore! Love this preview!!

  8. Wow! Props girly for all your hard work. It is not easy being an entrepreneur and I have to say with all those extra tasks lined up, it's quite a feat you've accomplished it all despite that! If this sneak peak is any indication (which duh-it obviously is) your collection is pure loveliness! Great photos too! congrats!!!

  10. Hurrah for the Fall Collection! My faves are the floral headbands, lace collar and lace-inserted skirt. :-)

Praying for your family as they're in CA, and for you as you "play Mommy" down on the farm. *Hugs*

    God bless,
    ~"Tom"~

  11. I'm very excited about the new fall collection. And I can't wait to see the hair tutorials and music videos. You're dulcimer is beautiful! I have one that my grandparents gave to us children a couple of years ago, but it's a tear drop shape and is made with a lighter wood (I'll have to ask my brother for the specific type of wood it's named after).
    Have a blessed day!
P.S. What is your dulcimer tuned to? DAA, DAC, DAD, or something else?

Elizabeth - yes! The collars are way too much fun:) Thanks! I'm currently having trouble with my computer uploading the videos, but it's forthcoming.

Thanks, Jeanine! I am so excited to watch you on your entrepreneurial journey as well - so much inspiration out there;)

Rosie, thanks! No new lenses yet...

Thanks so much for your prayers, Tom! Looking forward to our chat this evening...!

Purity Leigh - that's so neat that you have a dulcimer! It sounds beautiful with the unique shape. I love that instrument so much. Mine is tuned to DAD... and I do love my capo;D
