Lakeside Gingham

It's been full on summertime this week, glaring sunshine with clothes baking on the line and tiny moths resting in the cool shade of my tent as I sit inside, hair piled up, listening to Little Dorrit while my bare feet work the controls of sewing machine and serger.
There are piles of tulle everywhere, and that makes me so happy.

The Blogger Stylist Collective was a gigantic leap for KFD. Thank you for your comments and support - each one of you mean so, so much to me!  I am beyond excited to see where we end up next.

This afternoon we took off to the lake for some much-needed rest and the most beeeau-tiful swim ever.   The water was clear and warm and basically paradise.  The thimbleberries are ripe.  I finally had time to sit down with a book - which used to be my natural state -  and could hardly put it down.
Oh, summer feels good.
