Treasury | Country Gal

I know, I know... another one?  But this one's just too fun to pass up.  Plus, I curated it.
A sweet juxtaposition of what being a Farmgirl is all about.

Some shots from the Lost in the 50's Classic Car parade coming up next - I've just been so crazy busy that I feel like I've been working in my sleep at times.  Maybe I'm asleep now... that would be nice.  Because who has time to really sleep?
Plus, you've probably noticed that I messed up the navigation bar at the top of the blog... it's dreadful and I'm going to find time to fix that.  Along with other fun new things on those lines.

Vanilla Girl | Bluebell Tulle

Cardigan // Tulle Co.

Just this song.

It's faking me out - is it merely banjo?  Or more like something escaped from a Bluegrass stage and romping around the Japanese countryside?  Whichever it is, it's an unlikely and wonderful combination.
Now click play, then scroll back up and admire the Bluebell skirt all over again.  It's totally worth it.

Treasury | Sweet Day

Dreamy, warm, lambently sparkling with a dash of whimsey.  Oh so sweet.

Idaho Forestry

Hello, dream truck.

It was an absolutely beautiful day, with streaming sunshine and summer heat.  I was the group leader for the Hot Pink rookie division.  Which meant I got to wear a big old scarf around my neck in that estimable hue.  So chic.

Miles of hiking through the back forests of one of our community's largest and oldest ranches, home to the State Forestry contest for all of Idaho.  It's about five miles from my home.  I was so honored to be a part of this proud tradition of stewardship and dedication to preserving and wisely using the priceless treasure of Idaho's forest lands.

Our own group did an amazing job - our Senior team taking second place, while our Junior team (which one of my sisters is on) took first, and with it the prestigious crosscut saw award!  It was a joy to see these kids working so hard and demonstrating such a vast knowledge of the art of forestry.
Go, Eager Beavers!

Sailing | kelly green and navy

Sailing skirt // c/o eShakti
Ralph Lauren gingham // thrifted
sandals - ruffle tee - sunnies // thrifted

Take two on my self portrait endeavors - this time with a tripod.
The neighbors were having a party ten feet away in the back yard just as I was setting up my camera.  Nothing to do but plunge boldly on.  The third to last pic is right when they asked me what I was doing.  That's where you get to interject some highfalutin prose regarding the ambiguous title of Fashion Blogger, clinging to the last shreds of dignity in sight as they look suitably impressed by the mysterious phrase.

Ah, I love this skirt!  The other eShakti clothing I've tried so far has run a little large, but this fit is perfect.  It has sailboats.  It has pockets.  It's a most excellent shade of Kelly green.

This evening I watched the classic car parade in Sandpoint during the town's Lost in the 50s event - so much chrome!  It was a blast.  Coming soon.

Remember, tomorrow's the last day to take advantage of the $20.00 coupon to the Shop!
