Sailing skirt // c/o eShakti
Ralph Lauren gingham // thrifted
sandals - ruffle tee - sunnies // thrifted
Take two on my self portrait endeavors - this time with a tripod.
The neighbors were having a party ten feet away in the back yard just as I was setting up my camera. Nothing to do but plunge boldly on. The third to last pic is right when they asked me what I was doing. That's where you get to interject some highfalutin prose regarding the ambiguous title of Fashion Blogger, clinging to the last shreds of dignity in sight as they look suitably impressed by the mysterious phrase.
Ah, I love this skirt! The other eShakti clothing I've tried so far has run a little large, but this fit is perfect. It has sailboats. It has pockets. It's a most excellent shade of Kelly green.
This evening I watched the classic car parade in Sandpoint during the town's Lost in the 50s event - so much chrome! It was a blast. Coming soon.
Remember, tomorrow's the last day to take advantage of the $20.00 coupon to the Shop!
Lovely outfit, Kellie! I'm in love with that gingham top, and that skirt is too cute! I've been eyeing it on eshakti for some time, haha.
ReplyDeleteAlso, these photos are lovely!

Decked Out in Ruffles
Isn't it perfect? Thanks so much:)
DeleteLove the Kelly green and navy combo!! Two of my favorite colors for spring. So perfect for summer and outings on the lake at Sandpoint too. Your work on self portraits with the camera look great! Photo quality is excellent!!! Can't wait to see more of the 50's chrome. I remember those days quite well. Oops, showing my age!!
ReplyDeleteHaha- I know what you mean! I used to take most of my outfit shots in front of my garage door when I first started blogging. Self timer and a tripod. The neighbors must have thought I was nuts! Love the outfit- so cute! And the pictures turned out great! Alex

Oh my goodness, I adore the top! I love blue gingham so much, and that knotted shirt style is one of my favourite styles. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing how GOOD those colours look together. :)
Hi Kelly!
ReplyDeleteI love that gingham top so much! Me thinks I need to buy one for this summer. :)
Oh and I just purchased one of your tulle skirts! :) Can't wait to wear it. <3
I hope you are having a lovely Sunday!

Gingham tops are so perfect for summer. And thank you so much! You'll be so adorable in your new skirt! I want to see pictures! :)
DeleteOooh, lovely! The colors in your outfit are so pretty!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! The blue and green look so bright and happy together. :) I would love to get your thoughts on ordering from eShakti. If you don't mind my asking, when you ordered from them did you use your custom measurements or order one of their standard sizes? And did you find that the length of the garments you received was what you were expecting? (I find their dress length descriptions disconcertingly vague: "Knee length." Well, whose knees are we talking about? Someone who is 5' 8" or 5' 2"??) I hope you don't mind me asking a question in the comments. Thanks so much!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I ordered with custom measurements, and yes, they still seem to be a bit off on sizing. This skirt was ordered at below knee length - I'm 5' 10", and as you can see it's a far cry from that, even with the custom option. Interesting.
DeletePockets! I love tying my blouses like that. You look very nice. I love those colors together.
ReplyDeleteHi Kellie. I just wanted to say I love this outfit! My sister's name is Kellie, by the way, and I found your blog from hers. Again, Love This Outfit!
