  141. I've never really enjoyed my birthday. I grew up with two brothers, one older and one younger, and our birthdays fall September, October, November - - with mine still falling in the middle. So it was always got lost in the run up of birthdays to Christmas. It wasn't until I turned 21 that I had my first great birthday. I went out a bought a bottle of tequila and some margarita mix. I ordered a large, Hawaiian pizza. I had been buying over the previous few months all seven seasons of Buffy the Vampire Slayer: all of which I had by October. I drank margaritas, ate pizza, and watched Buffy all day long. It was the best time ever.

  142. My favourite birthday memory goes way back to when I was five and got a bike - I felt so grown up.

  143. My favorite birthday memory was when I turned eight. My mom and I went with one of my best friends to see the Nutcracker ballet on stage. We loved it so much! Ballet was my favorite thing in the world at that time and so that surprise was the best ever. :) I went to Ciarrai's studio and Twenty Fingers and favorited a whole bunch of stuff (I don't have Facebook or anything like that).

  144. Hi Kellie!
The linky thing won't let me post my link since it can't be more than 50 characters so I'm just putting my link here:)

    1. Hi Emma! So sorry the linky wasn't being nice for you - I've added your link manually so that everyone can find it. So excited to read your post! xo!

  145. One of my favorite birthday traditions that we have is that my father takes us out to breakfast. The past couple of years, we've gone to a little hole-in-the-wall place where they have homemade tea and applesauce stuffed pancakes. It's wonderful.

  146. These are all SO nice, and I'm thrilled to be included :D love that Little Dorrit & Co embroidery, and everyone has such beautiful creations!
I'd have to say my best birthday memory so far has been traveling to New England last year to visit friends and see all sorts of sites that I'd only read about in books, including Orchard House--- which, incidentally, inspired my Little Women painting! It was so wonderful to wander through Louisa's yard, to see her room and her writing desk....just such a lovely day!

  147. My favorite birthday memory would have to be my 17th birthday. My whole family were there, including my grandma and aunt (they rarely come to visit, so it was a treat). We have a tradition of eating out on birthdays and my parents picked out this lovely place I've never been to. It was amazing.

  148. Comment sharing my favorite birthday memory...

My parents took me out for dinner for my 16th birthday and my dad gave me my promise ring. It was a complete surprise for me, and he picked the perfect ring for my taste/personality! I still wear it every single day. Problem was, my dad and I are sometimes confused as husband and wife (highly annoying, but funny), and I'm pretty sure our waitress (who saw the ring) thought that I'd just accepted a proposal :P

  149. What a great way to spend my morning, browsing through Etsy shops!

    Little Dorrit & Co.
I really like the Dracula Embroidery Pattern. Just looking at it makes me smile. Lol

    Antique Fashionista
My favorite thing in Antique Fashionista is the Jane Eyre print. It captures the simplicity and beauty of Jane so well.

    Audrey Eclectic
I've been a fan of Heather's on Etsy for a while. I love all of her work. "Maple and Bittersweet" is a longtime favorite of mine. When I get some extra money, I'd like to get a commission of my book club. Two of our members trace their roots to Scandinavia and I think they would really appreciate the style.

    Bite of Heaven
I haven't had a lemon cookie in a long time but seeing the picture really makes
    me want some.

    Castle on a Hill
I love the Steampunk Portrait of Old Mother Time! That is beautiful!! Oh I can't get over it! It's just fantastic!

The Unblocker Dice are a writer's dream! Not just to unblock writer's block but, if I ever wanted to take up writing again, this would be a great way to practice and write for fun. I love them!

    Ciarrai Studios
The Persuasion Love Letter Necklace is simply amazing! I love that you can personalize it by birth stone. It's my favorite novel and this is a beautiful piece. There was nothing in this store I didn't love.

    The Twenty Fingers
I really liked the Pendant Collar necklaces. They look to lay just below the collarbone and I like the simplicity of the design. It could go with anything.

    Artful Tea
You had me at wine. :) The Mulled Wine Fruit Blend Herbal Tea sounds delicious! I especially like that it can be drank hot or cold!

    A Likely Story
The Shh Librarian keychain is the best! One of my best friends is getting her Master's in Library Sciences and this would be the perfect graduation gift for her!

    Your Beeswax
The Sculpted Square Votives are my favorite!! They're adorable and I love that they are small enough so they won't over power any room in my house (all of which are quite small).

    Printable Wisdom
"These are a few of my favorite things." Stacks of books and a hot beverage. I love the idea of printables because I can matte them how I want. I bought a sheet of printables with Sherlock Holmes quotes and mod podged them onto tile for a hostess gift.
