~The Giveaway~
Here are the beautiful prizes collected by our fabulous sponsors! You may enter the giveaway without
participating in the blog party, but I do hope you will join in both!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Creative Carmelina
The wonderfully creative Carmelina has sponsored one set of her crocheted gift tags and a darling crocheted doily, similar to the one pictured above. I just love her shop, filled with vintage lace, paper, and Victorian inspired neutrals!
Could a more perfect bookmark be dreamed of? Here we have a set of six original Jane Austen characters gracing their own snippets of the classic works they spring from.
From the Surrey, England studio of the delightful Jess Purser.
Simply perfect for a literary tea, these Lime Coconut French Macarons (12 count) are concocted by one amazing cook! Sarah's love of nature and fabulous food truly shines through in her beautiful bakery shop.
All of Jane's heroines from her six major works are represented in this print from an original watercolor by Marsha Laurence. Catherine with her Gothic novel, Fanny wearing her amber cross on Edmund's chain... Lizzy, Emma, Marianne and Elinor, and Anne, dressed for the concert at the Octagon room in all her Regency finery.
This delightful print is one you will never tire of gazing at - each heroine is so detailed, yet exudes an aura of mystery and imagination as well.
I am so madly in love with the amazing headbands designed by Katie Kortman! Today, she is offering one of her red felt Ribbon candy headbands, and I have to admit I'm a little envious of the winner;) Can it get any more adorable than red felt, ricrac, and ribbon candy?
Moleskine! Lizzy and Darcy! French antique graphic design!
The Jane Austen Darcy and Elizabeth Note Book Journal Moleskine Cahier is perfect for jotting down anything and everything, be it a travel or inspiration journal, a listbook, or even a romantic scrapbook.
Additionally, Wendy Paula of Mulberry Muse has also included a set of gift tags of winner's choice! There are a wonderful variety of tags to choose from... how will you decide?
// shop //
This delightful literary embroidery is sponsored by Delma of Laugh Rabbit Jr, a returning sponsor from the Ginormous Giveaway! A fellow Idahoan, her shop is filled with sweet handmade children's accessories. Wouldn't this hoop art look perfect hanging in your library?
A Gift Certificate to Bookish Charm for $25.00.
What will you choose? Browse through the myriad bookish inspired pendants and jewelry to find the perfect emblem of your love for all things literary! Erin's passionate love of books is very evident in the wide selection of quotes, phrases, and themes featured in her handcrafted art.
// shop //
Here we have the simply beautiful work of Loft Life Press design studio. As soon as I first discovered this shop, I fell head over heels for the stunning, romantic and folk inspired artwork replete in this shop. I'm positive that you will love these Audrey Hepburn floral embellished prints as much as I do!
The wonderful prize consists of a 8.5 x 11 Audrey Hepburn Quote print, as well as a 5x7" greeting card featuring another Audrey quote and design.
Can you imagine something more beautiful than watercolor blossoms and Audrey Hepburn? Perfection!
Zinnia Pea is chock-full of treasures for the book lover in all of us!
Our prize is the Pride and Prejudice Heart Romantic Mr Darcy Antique Bronze Necklace, inspired by Jane Austen's immortal line - "It is a truth universally acknowledged that a single man in possession of a good fortune must be in want of a wife."
Annie Design is offering not one but two groups of her beautiful crochet flower applique sets! Imagine the embellishing possibilities... adorn a hat, coat, blouse, home decor, or anything else that suits your fancy! Handcrafted in Ireland, these lovely fiber flowers are sure to brighten both your day, and that of all who see them!

My favorite birthday memory was when a close friend helped celebrate my sister's and my half birthday, since it's too cold in January, my birthday month, to do much.
ReplyDeleteWe went wading in a nearby river, bought ice cream, and ate at Panera while discussing my friend's recent mission trip and reliving events from each other's lives we had missed. It was the best half-birthday ever!

ReplyDeleteI have two small favourite birthday memories (which write up long): the one was my 10th birthday, because the day of that celebration we got our hamster. He was not a birthday present to me, he was everyone's, but it marked that birthday as special, and out of all the gifts of that day he was the best. One of our first pets.
ReplyDeleteThe socond was more recently, when a boy I know from our presbytery learned that I'd had birthday some time before that and insisted on celebrating. He had nothing to give to me, so he lit a candle and told me to blow it and wish for something. It was totally unexpected (it had been some time from my birthday and I'd never expect him to celebrate it in the first place) and very nice and thoughtful of him.
I hearted Mulberry Muse on etsy.

ReplyDeleteAnd for the giveaway, my favorite birthday memory was my sixteenth birthday last year. My two best friends came for a sleepover at my house.
Oh, I hope you don't mind if I request that you make me "void" in winning the prize from SweetSarah? As much as I would like to be able to win that as well, I'm not really allowed to accept food giveaways. Hope you understand. Thank you!
