Twenty Twelve was one of the biggest years of my life so far. Looking back from memory, I hardly feel as if anything really extraordinary happened, but piecing together the triumphs and tragedies month by month, I'm amazed at everything that I learned, experienced, accomplished.
I flew on an airplane, I drove over the Golden Gate Bridge. I took a ski lift to the top of the world. I talked to strangers (gasp!). One word: NIKON!!! My fingers pruned grapes till they bled, typed themselves stiff, and made more embroidery stitches than you could shake a stick at. My eyes saw things they'd never seen before, and my heart learned lessons I didn't think I had the courage to face.
My Etsy shop was blessed beyond my imagination, and I met countless beautiful new people through blogging.
Now, on the first day of the new year, I've gone back to count my many, many blessings, and I'm overwhelmed with gratitude.
Join me in looking back over 2012.
